Student Poetry: The Peaceful Void
I lay down as I have my whole life;
Again into the peaceful void I go.
Images flash before me, lacking any strife;
Red, green, blue, colors jumping to and fro.
A massive blue whale swims high in the sky.
It has stolen the place of an airplane.
When I wake to remember, how I try,
Yet; It washes my dreams away
Like the rain.
As night comes
Again. The booming rain is my lullaby.
