A Teen Routine to Success
“How can I get better grades?” or “What can I do to be more successful?” Many teens ask themselves these questions. My friends have, my classmates have, and I have. An important part of having success in school and in life is to have a routine to achieve what you want, but just having a routine isn’t enough.
I think there are many ways for a routine to succeed. The most important part to keep in mind is to always be yourself and don’t change how you are. When you develop your routine for success, maybe you have to change your behavior, but that doesn’t change the person you are. Success isn’t worth it if you have to change who you are to achieve it.
Another way to be more successful and to get better grades is to start having a regulated day. A regulated day can help you to focus on what is important. An agenda or a planner can help you have a regulated day.
Also, find out what is the best way for you to learn. For example, you might need to learn some vocabulary. There are many different ways to learn the words, and it is individual for each person. For some people, it is easy to learn something when they hear it or when someone tells it. For other people, it is easier to learn a new word when they read it and write it. Other people are learning the best when they have an image and draw things. I believe there are more ways, and you have to find out what’s the best for you.
Don’t start too late to learn. You will remember things better when you start learning a few days or weeks earlier, and then you repeat them. By the time you take your tests or have the class discussion, you are ready and you can succeed.
Finally, I believe a very important way to have success is to never give up. Try again and again until you do it. It doesn’t matter what it is. To have success, be yourself, find your way to learn, and never give up.
